Our newest viral video got featured on MySpace this week. You can check it out here:Love Lessons: What a Girl WantsThe video, which has now crept to over 200,000 hits in only a few days, stars Ramsey Moore, aka: Big Mack who delivers advice to guys who can’t seem to crack the code of what women want with techniques like “the watergate”, “the mirror”, and “going to the source”.  The video also features talented comedian and actress Ginger Gonzaga, who delivers a stellar performance as Ramsey’s love interest. The comments on MySpace, which have reached over 1,000 seem to be largely positive although it is interesting to watch as threads develop on topics revolving around such diverse topics as race, obesity and politics.  Ramsey is a large man, and this seems to polarize the audience. Some viewers are disgusted by fat people, while others stand up for them and argue that they have the right to love just like the rest of the skinny folk. Somehow, this spills into a race debate when the fat people category is rolled into mexican and black people categories.Things escalate pretty fast in the comments section on MySpace.. and it’s fun that a short funny video is capable of sparking as much dialogue and debate as it did.. It would be nice if the conversation were a bit more thoughtful and less about attacking fellow posters… but maybe that’s just the fun of MySpace.  Maybe MySpace will someday integrate the comment ranking features that are now popular on sites like Digg and Youtube to help sort the thoughtful comments from the banal, the ignorant and sometimes downright hateful.    Until then, we can enjoy the video, and all of the colorful comments that come with it! Go Ramsey go!
